My Name is Dedy Oktavianus Pardede
Yeah, i’m the last years student in dentistry, Sriwijaya University, Palembang, Indonesia
Dentistry and Culinary, this stuffs passionated my life so much
I like eating, travelling and cooking, the last item is not really i like
But i had to do it because i’m single , i couldn’t even afford budgeting my culinary adventures if i always buying a cooked dish.
Kneading some dough or chopping veggies is my YOGA and the kitchen is my SANCTUARY TEMPLE.
i’m actually called myself as a personal chef for my lovely niece, Clesya Sihombing. So that some of the recipes are suitable for children.

mau tanya, apa resep2 seperti kaldu tom yum udah telah terjamin kehalalannya (label kehalalannya). Alias bebas babi,lemak babi, alkohol,etc. Tolong diinfokan karena di dunia maya bila km menybrkan sesuatu yg salah walau tanpa sengaja krn ketidaktahuan dan orng lain mengikuti maka km juga bisa mendapat dosanya. makin byk yg lihat,meniru, ya hitunglah brp …. Wallahu alam biswhab.

Hi Dedy, Salam kenal 🙂 I agree with you. Readers should take responsibility themselves and make sure the ingredients are according to their religious belief, and not relying on the recipe writer to tell them which ingredients are halal or not.
Ryan,bumbu masakan Thailand yg dalam kemasan,baik yg dijual di Indonesia,di Arab Saudi,di Thailand,maupun di Australia serta negara lain seperti Malaysia dll selalu ada label halalnya bila memang itu “HALAL.”

Hi Dedy dear I m Ibu Didi I originally born in Jawa Timur, Madiun so rendang is really very different way to cook , because after married 47 years ago I lived in Jakarta and USA I alwalys cook many kind of different foods from our country , I like to promote our food in USA I live in Palm Bech Florida USA at present, 2 days ago I try to make rendang from ur recipe for my dear friends , wow it’s really so yummy though Tq for the inspiration to do the recipe i will always try when ever I have time . tp klo mengolahnya sih perkara mudah, tinggal dipotong2 aja..
trus ditaruh diatas salad atu bubur…
btw century egg itu gak terlalu mahal kok, klo di pebinaan sebutirnya paling 5-10 rb…
biasanya masih dibalut sekam padi

lagi cari resep masakan jepang, eh nyampe ke blog ini di resep “japanese spring onion pancake”, impulsively langsung ke dapur ngeluarin tepung, garam, olive oil, daun bawang, bawang putih bubuk, abon dan paprika bubuk (yang ini improvisasi), voila! 15 menit kemudian, jadi deh..lumayan buat nambahin menu bento box buat anak dan suami..mana kayaknya isinya bisa di improvisasi lagi.. wow..tq ya resepnya, 🙂
dibumbuin gitu jadinya tambah enak deh kayaknya……..

Yang bikin salut, ternyata sampai ke masalah teknik seperti memanggang daging dan harus diistirahatkan setelah dipanggang supaya jus nya terserap kembali pun diperhatikan.. kalo bukan cheff beneran kayaknya orang kita nggak ada yg ngeh dengan teknik itu, hehe…

Hi, I am stuck on sea cucumber preparation, please can you clarify for the foreigner with zero knowledge of this food- after you take it out from fridge for first time and clean out the inner part & boil again you say ‘Repeat this process several days later until sea cucumber is soft enough to cook’ but what do we do with the cucumber during those several days, do we just leave it in the fridge until it’s time to ‘repeat the process’? I have been gifted some sea cucumbers, I want to prepare it right! Thank you
