I like  eating, travelling and cooking, the last item  is not really i like

But i had to do it because i’m single , i couldn’t even afford budgeting my culinary adventures if i always buying a  cooked dish.

Kneading some dough or chopping veggies is my YOGA and the kitchen is my SANCTUARY TEMPLE.

i’m actually called myself as a personal chef for my lovely niece, Clesya Sihombing. So that some of the recipes are suitable for children.

well, This is my blog…..

where i put some of my recipes and my culinary journey

      • wahhh.. itu kamu masak sendiri ya?? keren-keren banget hasilnya!!! mau niyicip langsung dong masakannya sekalp-sekali to? aku juga di palembang soalnya. Hehehehe…

  2. Salam kenal Dedy,

      • Hi Dedy, Salam kenal 🙂 I agree with you. Readers should take responsibility themselves and make sure the ingredients are according to their religious belief, and not relying on the recipe writer to tell them which ingredients are halal or not.

  38. Thanks for dropping by my blog. Hope to cross paths with you again soon. I liked your treatment of the venison dish. I promise to try it out. But I will have to go easy on the spice. My hubby can’t take spicy food. Let’s just say, spices don’t like him. They make him suffer after they give him pleasure while eating. He suffers all through the night and the next day!

  53. I think you’re amazing chef! Some of the ingredients are too exotic to obtain here but I thoroughly enjoy your creations. I like your plating and photographing too. Good luck with your schooling. I think you should open your restaurant.

  54. Hello, Dedy. Thanks for dropping by my blog. In cooking and dentistry, there is the science to the craft but there is always the art to it as well. I hope we’ll cross paths. I too love to travel and I love to cook. We could compare notes! One day, I will visit Indonesia and taste all the cuisine the land has to offer. For now, I will rely on some Indonesian food in a nearby restaurant where I live.

  55. Hai, salam kenal..

  56. Wow, I am so impressed by your blog! The things you know how to cook are really complex and amazing and it is all presented in such a beautiful and mouthwatering way!

I had a holiday in Indonesia some years ago and I still sometimes think of the delicious meals I had there. I loved the food in Thailand too.

I will be coming back here for inspiration when I need ideas for dinner! 🙂

  57. Hi again Dedy! After your comment on the tomato basil bisque with grilled cheese croutons on my blog I checked out your blog and couldn’t beleive you were a dentist too! I am a periodontist!!! I have an Indonesian friend who just moved to my neighborhood and is also a periodontist and loves cooking. Do you know Miriam Ting?

  58. Hi, Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving a trace. You have a lovely space here and i am still exploring!! Amazed to see your interest in cooking along with pursuing dentistry. Great going and happy blogging 🙂

  59. Hello Dedy,

I am Noa Berger, VizEat’s Community Manager (http://bit.ly/Wf1vx3). We connect locals and travellers who’d like to discover a new culture with hosts who welcome them at their home around a meal.

Using VizEat is very easy and straightforward: hosts post their meal (this could also be an aperitif, brunch, wine & cheese, etc.) select a date & price, choose their guests and then share an authentic moment around a home cooked meal!

I love your blog and so would be delighted to discuss a potential partnership. There are numerous mutually beneficial opportunities that we can present to you.

Would you be available for a 10 minute chat so that I can give you more details about the partnership and what we are proposing?

We look forward to welcoming you on board!

    Kind regards,

  65. Hello, Mr. Pardede!
My name is Leon Shernoff, and I run a magazine for people who hunt mushrooms called Mushroom, the Journal of Wild Mushrooming (www.mushroomthejournal.com). We’re doing an article on eating Schizophyllum, which as you say is still not well appreciated in North America. Would it be okay for us to link to your post about the stir-fried split-gill mushrooms, and use your second picture from the post? It’s really a lovely dish, and a wonderful picture of it.
    Let me know! Thanks!
    Leon

      • Thanks so much! I’ll keep you posted on the publication.
